Jack Wagner Returns to The Bold and the Beautiful to Reprise the Role of Nick Marone

Turns out, The Bold and the Beautiful had more than one piece of ‘big news’ to drop this week as previewed by its Supervising Producer, Casey Kasprzyk. After receiving a three-year renewal pick-up from CBS on Tuesday, on Thursday, the series revealed longtime fan favorite Jack Wagner is returning to the soap opera reprising his role as Nick Marone!
According to Deadline, Wagner is back for a story arc and began taping at the set of The Bold and the Beautiful on April 10th. Viewers can look for Jack to first appear on-screen this coming June 13th.
In story, B&B previews that Nick will cross paths with his ex-love Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) when she finds herself at a crossroads after Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) dumped her for Taylor (Rebecca Budig). It seems that Brooke is feeling defeated and lost, grappling with heartbreak and the painful realization that her relationship may be irreparably broken. As she struggles with her emotions, Nick’s unexpected arrival brings a rush of memories and unresolved feelings back to the surface. His charismatic and supportive nature offers Brooke a sense of comfort and stability that she desperately needs. Their connection reignites old flames, offering Brooke a chance at happiness and a fresh start away from the shadow of her past with Ridge.

Wagner first played Nick Marone back in 2003 and was revealed to be the son of shipping magnate Massimo Marone played by the late Joseph Mascolo. We also learned that Ridge’s biological father is Massimo and not Eric, making Nick and Ridge half-brothers. Nick was always a crusty sea captain who now runs Marone Industries.
In 2012 Jack vacated the role, but appeared on the series for its 35th anniversary in a special episode which centered on the loves of Brooke’s life in March of 2022. And just like everyone on The Bold and the Beautiful, the character of Nick had relationships with various women on the show including: Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones), Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Taylor Hayes (formerly Hunter Tylo).

The popular star is best known for his roles as Frisco Jones on General Hospital, Warren Lockridge on Santa Barbara, Dr. Peter Burns on Melrose Place and as Bill Avery in Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart which just was renewed for its 13th season which will air sometime in 2026.
